AMAC Kicks The Yankees - October 14th, 2018
On Sunday, October 14th, students and instructors participated in and judged at the 54th Annual Connecticut Yankee Nationals Tournament. Every student who competed took home at least one medal. Congratulations on a fantastic job, and a special thank you goes out to the families who made the long trip to get students to the tournament.

AMAC Gup Grading, October 12th, 2018
On Friday, October 12th, Grand Master Cheezic conducted a Gup grading at
the AMAC Dojang. In all, fifteen students were promoted. Additionally, Grand Master Cheezic personally extended an invitation to Mr. Eric Nocera to test for Second Dan at the November Black Belt grading.

Foster Old Home Days Demo - July 28th, 2018

Please join us on Friday, April 20th for a fun-filled night of games at the AMAC Dojang and help Emily Feeney complete her
senior project. Emily is raising money for ALS research. Visit Emily's YouCaring page to learn more about her fight and find out how you can help!
The night's festivities begin at 5:30 and will continue until 8:30 unless you wimp out from exhaustion! Snacks and drinks will be provided, but if you'd like to bring something special to share, we won't complain. Everyone is also welcome to bring any games they'd like to play. This event is open to all AMAC members as well as their families & friends. We hope to see you there!
Federation Challenge I, January 14th, 2018
On Sunday, January 14th, students from AMAC took part in Cheezic Federation Challenge I (Weapons and Sparring.) Students from the Little Ninja class participated in their first tournament and did a fantastic job. Thank you to all the students who competed for representing AMAC so well! Worcester Classics Open Karate Tournament - May 7th, 2016
Congratulations to Mr. Tirocchi for his performance representing AMAC at the Worcester Classics Open Karate Tournament. Mr. Tirocchi won fourth place finishes in his weapons and forms divisions, competing against up to thirteen competitors. Well done!

Also, as usual, AMAC's students performed magnificently, bringing home a tantalizing treasure trove of trophies. The most notable performance of all was Ms. Brown, who in her first tournament defeated a Black Belt to take 1st Place in her division! On November 21st, Grandmaster Cheezic presided over the final Black Belt grading of 2014, at the Waterbury Athletic Dome. AMAC's candidates consisted of four Apprentices and one Cho Dan, all of whom successfully passed the grading! Congratulations to our newest Ee Dan and our four new Cho Dans, and thank you to all of the Black Belt candidates who came out to support them!

AMAC Gup Graduation - October 24th, 2014
On October 24th, Grand Master Cheezic conducted a Gup grading at the AMAC Dojang. In all, twenty-four students were promoted including two new Apprentice Black Belts. Congratulations to everyone who graded! Additionally, Grand Master Cheezic personally announced that Ms. Emily Feeney's nomination to grade to Ee Dan han been accepted, and handed her the official invitation to the Black Belt Grading on November 21st. Pictures from the night are available on the photos and links page. New bluebelts, you are now eligibile to attend the Saturday morning weapons class and begin training with the bo staff.

Masters' Grading - October 3rd, 2014
On Friday, October 3rd, 2014, Mr. and Mrs. Master Saucier graded and were promoted to 8th (Pal) and 6th (Yuk) Dan respectively as part of Masters' Grading at the Waterbury Boys & Girls Club. In all, twenty-three individuals were promoted to various master ranks ranging from 4th Dan to 8th Dan. Additionally, this is the first time in history that Kwan Jang Nim Cheezic has promoted masters to the level of 8th Dan. Congratulations to all who graded!
